The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a fantastic choice if you're seeking a robot mop and vacuum that's mid-range. It has a great mopping performance but lacks some of the advanced features that are found in its more expensive sibling.

In tests, it was able to tackle dry oats and dust on carpets with medium piles and pet hair on hard floors. However, unlike other models, it doesn't utilize LIDAR to map out your home.

iRobot Roomba s9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is one of the most highly-rated robots. It offers impressive cleaning power and numerous features, including a self emptying robot vacuum-emptying dirt compartment built into its charging base. This robot can recognize your habits of cleaning, and suggest automatic schedules that will give you the ultimate hands-free cleaning experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the process of setting up. Once the system is in place it can begin automatic cleaning with a single button press. You can select an overall clean that emphasizes getting rid of larger pieces of debris such as cereal and rice, or opt for two thorough mappings of your space to ensure that your home gets a proper look.

This robot vacuum performs well on both floors with no carpet and carpets with low pile. It can take in large objects and doesn't lose suction as rapidly as some other models, and it can even pick up pet hair without difficulty. It's not the best time with high-pile or plush carpet, however iRobot says it will get better in the future with new models.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot, which focuses on improving edge and corner cleaning. It's the very first Roomba that has flat-fronted D-shaped designs. The company hopes this will allow it hug the furniture and walls. It's an improvement over the hockey puck-shaped robovacs that are common however we found it only marginally superior to circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also has superior filtration that blocks tiny particles and allergens from circulating within your home. We think it's a nice statement but not enough to justify a higher price.

Its smart navigation system uses sensors to keep track of the structure of your home, and vSLAM for mapping the interior of your home. This allows it to stay clear of obstacles, such as staircases and other barriers, and to tidy up your entire house efficiently possible. The iRobot Home app lets you manage the robot and plan cleaning times, and set up virtual boundaries, so it knows to avoid areas that need extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a robot that is a combination of mopping and vacuuming. Its vacuum settings are as good as those on higher-end models. Its mopping system is better - its spinning pads scrub your floors much more effectively than a vibrating pad.

The only downside is that it doesn't have a second rubber brush for more thorough cleaning, but that's a small cost to pay for if you want one of the best mapping robot vacuum robots available. The robo-vac's tank for dust is also larger than many of its competitors and takes only two or three cycles to fill it up, even with the highest dirt level.

For the mopping device, I was awestruck with its ability to scrub hard-to-clean dirt from my floors. Its two lowest mopping settings, which are less powerful than high-powered ones, create low noise, which means you can work or watch television without getting distracted. It will gently bump into furniture or walls and move on whenever it comes across one.

The Q Revo is unique in that it runs almost entirely on its own, Best Robot Vacuum and Mop requiring only minimal user involvement. The robo-vac comes with a multi-function dock that automatically transfers physical garbage into the bin hidden in the background and also cleans and drys mop pads and replenishes its clean water tank. The app will only alert you when something is wrong, such as low water levels or a vacuuming session that is cancelled due to a full bin.

You can also create and merge actual rooms to alter the way that Q Revo treats your abode. This feature is useful for those who have different flooring in different areas of your house or if you need to regularly clear out clutter such as toys, clothes, and books. The robo-vac was also one of the top performers in my tests, picking up debris on carpets as well as hardwood floors on the first attempt. It can even vacuum up wet spills. I recommend drying the area with a towel prior to sending it into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum robot mop that has all the features you can want. Like the iRobot Roomba S9+, Best Robot Vacuum and Mop it has an excellent vacuum with powerful suction that cleans carpets and hard floors, as well as the mop's rotating design that can scrub tough stains. It also comes with an auto-cleaning base station that automatically empties and washes mop pads, keeping them clean and ready for use again. It also features a new sensor system that is able to better detects obstacles, granting it the ability to avoid falling over furniture or other objects.

The most significant improvement over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that it has a sleeker, more modern design due to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for its Bang & Olufsen products). The robot is still large--it has a height of more than two feet height and depth and weighs almost four pounds. However the robot as well as its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot j7.

This model is more efficient than the X1 as it charges faster and cleans 1,500 square feet in one charge. It also has a bigger dustbin that is more durable to hold more debris which makes it easier to empty it when needed.

The X2 Omni also has a more natural voice assistant and an app that can be used even if you are not at home. It also has more mopping options and a smart routing feature which allows it to clean specific areas or rooms of your home instead just following a set route.

The X2 Omni is the most effective robot at mopping. Its rotating mop pads clean tough stains and its motor produces plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming capabilities are excellent as well and it enhances suction when it senses carpet to ensure it does a thorough job. It also has a large battery that can last for several weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as efficient as any we've seen in a consumer-grade robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a top-quality model that offers a number of convenience features not often found on robots in this price range. It is able to build detailed floor maps, identify various flooring types, and it's one of the few robots that automatically wash and dry the mop pads. Although these features are nice to have however, they also make the L10s Ultra more in the luxury category, which might make it somewhat more expensive than the average homeowner require.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaner. It is tall and slim with a white finish, accentuated by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by an enormous bumper, which protects the vacuum and furniture from damage when moving around the home. Sensors are hidden behind the front pane which help the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum there is a single button which serves as an on/off switch. This button will turn on the vacuum. By pressing it again, you can turn it off and transmit it to its base station. The central control panel is a circular menu that lets you choose cleaning modes as well as schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons on the screen will open the settings menu in which you can modify how the L10s Ultra integrates with your home.

Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation techniques to map out your house. This allows the robot to vacuum and mop effectively without getting stuck. The LIDAR helps the robot vacuum avoid obstacles and recognize them and avoid them, which is a great feature for households with pets or young children.

The L10s Ultra has a solid vacuuming capability which clears 98.4 percent of debris from our hard-floor test and removing all but the most stubborn juice stains. The mops are also efficient, removing 98.4% of debris on our wood, tile and carpet tests. However, it wasn't as effective in removing sand from the floor, or quaker oats on the carpet.
