The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is an excellent option for those looking for a mid-range robot vacuum and mop. It's got a fantastic mopping capabilities, but is lacking some of the features found in its more expensive sibling.

During tests, it was able remove pet hair and dry oats from carpets with a medium pile. It doesn't employ LIDAR however, as other models do to identify your home.

1. IRobot Roomba S9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top robot vacuum cleaner-rated robot vacuums. It has impressive cleaning power and plenty of features, including a self-emptying dirt compartment built into its charging base. This robot can learn your habits for cleaning and suggest automatic schedules to provide you with a truly hands-free cleaning experience.

The setup process is simple thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the process. Once the system is setup you can begin the cleaning automatically with just one button. You can opt for an overall clean that emphasizes the removal of large debris such as rice and cereal or two detailed maps of your space to ensure that your entire home has a clean and tidy appearance.

This vacuum works well both on bare floors and carpets with low pile. It sucks up large items and doesn't lose suction as quickly as some others do and can pick up pet hair without much difficulty. It has a difficult time with high-pile carpets or plush carpets, but iRobot claims that future models will be more efficient.

The S9+ is a new design by iRobot that concentrates on enhancing the edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt an open-fronted, flat-fronted design, which it hopes will allow it to hug furniture and walls. It's a nice change from the traditional hockey puck shape of robovacs, but we discovered it to be only incrementally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also comes with an advanced filtration system, which prevents micro-sized particles and allergens from circulating throughout your home. We think it's a nice claim, but not enough to justify a premium price.

Its smart navigation system employs sensors that keep track of your home's layout, and vSLAM technology for mapping the interior. This allows it to steer clear of obstacles, such as stairs and other barriers, and to clean up your entire house in the most efficient way possible. The iRobot Home app lets you manage the robot and plan cleaning times, as well as create virtual boundary markers, so it can recognize areas that require extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a robot that combines vacuuming and mopping. Its vac settings are just as effective as those on higher-end models, and its mopping system is even better. Its spinning pads do a better job of cleaning your floors than a stationary vibration pad.

The only downside is that it lacks an additional rubber brush to allow for deeper cleaning, but that's a small cost to pay for if you want to get one of the best robot vacuum cleaner and mop robots on the market. The robo-vac's tank for dust is also larger than many of its rivals and it takes only two or three cycles to fill it up, even with the maximum dirt level.

In terms of the mopping system, I was awestruck by its ability to scrub tough dirt off my floors. Its two lowest mopping settings, which are less powerful than the high-powered settings, produce low noise, which means you can work or watch television without being distracted. It will gently bump into furniture or walls and then move on whenever it comes across one.

The Q Revo is unique in that it operates almost autonomously, with little user involvement. The dock of the robo-vac is multifunctional and automatically transfers trash into a hidden bin. It also washes and dries the clean water tank. The app will only alert you if something is wrong for example, low water levels or a cancelled vacuuming session due to an empty bin.

You can also combine or create rooms to customize the way that Q Revo handles your home. This feature is useful if you have different flooring in different areas of your home or if you need to regularly clear out clutter such as clothes, toys and books. The robot vacuum was also one of the best performers in my test and was able to remove debris from both carpets as well as hardwood floors with the first attempt. It can also clean up spills that are wet but I would suggest drying them with a damp cloth prior to sending the robot into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd expect from a high-end robot vacuum and mop and more. Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+, it comes with a powerful vacuum that has a powerful suction that cleans carpet and hard floors, as well as the mop's rotating design that can scrub tough stains. It also comes with a self-cleaning base station that automatically cleans and empty the mop pads, keeping them germ-free and ready for use again. It also comes with a brand new sensor system that is able to better detects obstacles, granting it the ability to avoid falling over furniture or other objects.

The most significant improvement over the ECOVACS the X1 Deebot is its modern, sleeker design. This is thanks to the Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. Although it's still quite large--it's more than two feet in height and depth and weighs almost four pounds--the entire robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot j7.

This version is also more efficient than the X1 version, since it has faster battery charging and can handle a full cleaning of about 1,500 square feet on one charge. It also comes with a larger and more durable dustbin that can hold more debris. This makes it easier to empty.

The X2 Omni also has a more natural voice assistant as well as an app that works even when you're not at home. It also has additional mopping modes as well as a smart routing feature that gives it the flexibility to clean certain rooms or areas of your home instead just following a set path.

The X2 Omni is the best robot at mopping. Its mop pads rotating scrub away tough stains, and its motor produces plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming capabilities are excellent too and it increases suction when it detects carpets to ensure that it does the job well. It has a large, rechargeable battery that can last up to one week. The mopping feature of the robot is also very effective.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a high-end model that comes with a variety of features that aren't typically found on robots in this price range. It is able to create detailed floor maps and detect different flooring types. It's also one of the few robots that can automatically clean and dry its mop pad. These features are great but they also push the L10s into the premium category. This could mean it's more expensive than homeowners need.

Created to resemble a modern floor cleaner The L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device that has an elegant white finish accented by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine features an impressive bumper that protects the furniture and vacuum cleaner while moving around your home. Behind the pane at the front is additional navigation technology with sensors that help the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the screen, you'll find one button that is a switch for on and off. This button will activate the vacuum. By pressing it again, you can shut it off and send it back to its base station. The circular menu located in the middle of the control panel lets you to choose cleaning modes as well as schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons below the screen will open up the settings menu of the app where you can modify how the L10s Ultra works with your home.

Like the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation technology to map out your home. This creates a precise floor plan that enables the robot vacuum and mop with ease without getting stuck in messy areas. The LIDAR also helps the br151 robot vacuum vacuum to recognize and avoid obstacles, which is a nice feature for households with pets or children.

The L10s Ultra is an extremely powerful vacuum cleaner, which removes 98.4 percent of the debris we test on hardwood floors and taking out all but stubborn juice staining. Its mops also do a great job in removing 98.4 percent of debris from our carpet, tile, and wood tests. However, it wasn't quite as effective in removing sand from the floor, or the quaker oats that are on carpet.
