The Q Revo is a fantastic choice if you're seeking a robot vacuum and mop that is middle-of-the-road. It's a great mopping capabilities, but is lacking some of the advanced features of its more expensive sibling.

In tests, it was able to handle dust and dry oats on medium-pile carpet and pet hair on hard floors. However, like cheaper models, it doesn't employ LIDAR to map out your home.

When it is about robots that can combine mopping and vacuuming the Roborock Q Revo stands out. Its vac settings are just as efficient as those found on higher-end models, and its mopping system is even better. Its spinning pads do a more impressive job of scrubbing your floors than a stationary vibrating pad.

It's only downside is the lack of a second brush to allow for more thorough cleaning. However, that's not a problem for Dyson Robot Vacuum those who want to own one of the best robots on the market. The dust tank on the robo-vac is larger than its competitors and filling it up only takes two or three cycles even when you have maximum dirt.

In terms of the mopping system, I was impressed by its ability to scrub tough dirt off my floors. Its two lowest mopping modes, which are less aggressive than the higher-powered ones generate very little noise, which allows you to work or watch television without interruption. It will gently bump into furniture or walls, and then move on when it encounters one.

The Q Revo is unique in that it can run almost entirely on its own, requiring only minimal user involvement. The dock of the robo-vac can be multi-functional and can automatically transfer trash into a hidden bin. It also washes, dries and refills the clean water tank. The app will only notify you when something is not right for example, low water levels or a cancelled vacuuming session due to a full bin.

You can also create and merge actual rooms to customize the way that Q Revo treats your abode. This is a great feature to have if you have several areas of your home with different floor dyson robot vacuum materials or if there's a lot of items that need to be cleared out frequently, such as clothes, toys and books. The robot vacuum was also among the top performers in my tests, picking up debris on carpets as well as hardwood floors with the first pass. While still quite massive--it's nearly two feet high and deep and weighs in excess of four pounds--the robot itself and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot j7.

This version is also more efficient than the X1 one, because it charges faster and can handle a full cleaning of approximately 1,500 square feet in one charge. It also has a bigger dustbin that is more durable to hold more debris which makes it easier to empty when needed.

The X2 Omni also has a more natural voice assistant as well as an app that can be used even if you are not at home. It also has an intelligent routing feature that allows it to clean specific rooms or areas of your home instead of following a set path.

The X2 Omni is the most effective robot for mopping. Its rotating mop pads scrub away tough stains, and its motor generates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is outstanding as well, and it boosts suction when it detects carpet to ensure it does a thorough job. It also has a huge battery that can last for weeks between charges, and its mopping mode is as effective as the ones we've seen on a consumer-grade robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a premium mop and robot vacuum that comes with a variety of features that you don't often see on robots of this price. It can make detailed floor maps and identify different types of flooring. It's also one of the only robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. These are nice features however they can push the L10s into the class of luxury. This could make it more expensive than what homeowners want.

Created to look like a modern floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device with an elegant white finish that's enhanced by mirror-plated silver elements. The front of the machine has an impressive bumper that protects the vacuum cleaner and furniture when you are moving around your home. Behind the pane at the front is additional navigation technology in the form of sensors that aid the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum there is a single button that is used as an on/off switch. The button will activate the vacuum. By pressing it again, you can turn it off and send it back to its base station. The central control panel includes an oblique menu that lets you choose cleaning modes, schedules, and preferences. The left and right buttons beneath the screen will bring up the settings menu of the app where you can tweak the way that the L10s Ultra integrates with your home.

The L10s Ultra, like the iRobot Roomba S9+ or Roborock Q Revo uses a combination of cameras and LIDAR technology to map out your home. Its mops also perform well in removing 98.4% debris from our carpet, tile, and wood tests. It was not as effective at removing sand from the hard floor or quaker oatmeal from the carpet.
