The Q Revo is a fantastic choice if you're looking for a robotic vacuum and mop that is middle-of-the-road. It's got a fantastic mopping capability, wet dry robot vacuum but it lacks some of the features of its more expensive sibling.

It has a difficult time with carpets that are high-pile or plush however, iRobot promises that the next models will be more efficient.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot that focuses on enhancing edge and corner cleaning. This allows it to stay clear of obstacles, such as staircases and other barriers, and to tidy up your entire home in the most efficient manner possible. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and set virtual boundary markers so that the robot knows what areas require extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a robot that is a combination of mopping and vacuuming. Its vacuum settings are as effective as those of more expensive models and its mopping system is even better. Its spinning pads do a much better job of scrubbing floors than a stationary vibration pad.

The only issue is the lack of a second brush for deeper cleaning. But that's not a major issue if you want to own one of the best robots on the market. The dust tank of the robo-vac is bigger than most of its competitors and filling it takes just two or three cycles, even when you have maximum dirt.

As for the mopping device, I was impressed by its ability to scrub tough dirt from my floors. Its two lowest mopping modes that are less aggressive than the high-powered ones, create very little noise, which allows you to work or watch TV without distraction. If it encounters an object, such as a wall or piece of furniture, it gently bumps into it and then moves on.

The Q Revo is unique in that it operates almost entirely on its own, requiring only minimal user involvement. The robo-vac features a multi-function dock that automatically transfers physical trash into the hidden bin and also washes and drys the mop pads, and refills its clean water tank. The app is adept at nagging you only when something requires attention, such as the clean water tank running low or a scheduled vacuuming session being cancelled due to a full dust bin.

You can also create and combine rooms to modify how the Q Revo manages your home. This is a great feature if you have multiple rooms in your home that have different flooring materials or there's clutter that must be removed frequently, such as toys, clothes and books. The robot vacuum was also among the top performers in my test cleaning up debris from carpets and hardwood floors with the first go. It can vacuum up even Wet Dry Robot Vacuum spills. I recommend drying the area with a towel prior to sending it in.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd expect from a top-quality robot vacuum and mop and more. Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+, it is a top-quality vacuum that has a powerful suction to clean hard and carpet floors, and an omni-rotating mop that scrubs tough staining. It also comes with an automatic cleaning station that cleans and empty mop pads to keep them clean and ready to be reused. It also comes with a sensor that detects obstacles more accurately and prevents it from falling onto furniture and other objects.

The most notable improvement over the ECOVACS the X1 Deebot is its sleeker, more modern design. This is thanks to Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. While still quite massive--it's nearly two feet high and deep and weighs in excess of four pounds--the robot and its base are much smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot j7.

Its vacuuming is excellent as well, and it boosts suction when it senses carpet to ensure it's doing the job well. It also has a huge battery that can last for weeks between charges, and its mopping mode is as efficient as anything we've seen in an ordinary robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot mop and vacuum is a top-quality model that has a range of features that aren't typically found on robots of this price. It is able to build detailed floor maps, identify different flooring types and is one of the few that can automatically wash and dry the mop pads. Although these features are nice to have, they also make the L10s Ultra more in the category of luxury which could make it somewhat more expensive than the average homeowner need.

Designed to resemble a modern floor cleaner designed to look like a modern floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim machine with an elegant white finish enhanced by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by an enormous bumper, which helps protect the vacuum and furniture from damage when moving through the house.
