Zoloft is an antidepressant medication used to treat depression, Amoxil anxiety disorders and panic attacks. Zoloft works by increasing the amount of serotonin available in the brain. Sertraline is sold individually or along with a number of other antidepressants in a category called selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRI).
